Elmendorf Air Force Base

Located next to the city of Anchorage, Alaska, Elmendorf Air Force Base is part of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. It is the largest installation of the U.S. Air Force in the state of Alaska. Alaskan NORAD Region, Alaskan Command, the 11th Air Force and the 3rd Wing are headquartered at Elmendorf AFB.
